New iPhone 5S Chinese KnockOff (Clone) Already Released to Market by GooPhone

So far no announcements have been made by Apple regarding the exact release date of the new iPhone 5S, but GooPhone;  the Chinese clone specialist has come up with its own cheaper knockoff of the upcoming iPhone 5S. And there’s no doubt that it has in fact done a pretty cool job. You can very well see from the video below that i5s is quite indistinguishable to the original and most of us can’t even tell whether it’s a real thing or a clone. Until we use it.

Just like GooPhonei5 (iPhone 5 knockoff), the i5S is in fact powered by the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and has been extensively modified to appear more like the iOS. Though it looks just like the original but performance wise there is an issue.

Once you use it, you will see that i5S is not so responsive or smooth like the original iPhone and if you use it too fast it might become unresponsive. While you hit App Store tab you will end up looking at the Google Play and it is sure an indication that it’s just an Android launcher.

The i5S comes with a 1 GHz Mediatek MT6577 processor with a 512 MB RAM, and this sure tells us why it runs slow at some instances. It features a 4 inch “Retina” screen and uses same widescreen resolution like that of original iPhone 5, it has a 1.2 mp front-facing camera & 5 mp rear-facing camera.

Though i5S might be slow, but it comes with an advantage and that is the price. The 1st thousand customers will get it at an unbelievable price tag of $99 once it is up for sale tomorrow, and after that it will be available for $149.

  1. I’ve seen a lot of iPhone5 clone phones, at first glance you will not notice the difference. But when you get to hold and use the phone, things are very much different.

  2. I agree with Jade. It may look a lot like it. Just like I have a tablet that resembles the Ipad, however, I can’t imagine that it would be a real rival to apple or a threat to them. I would be curious just to try one out but will save my money for the real deal!
